Billie Eilish has surprised her fans by sharing a rare glimpse of her large dragon tattoo, despite previously vowing to keep it a secret. In an Instagram video, the 21-year-old singer can be seen gyrating in a cluttered room while holding onto the arms of a desk chair. As she moves, a portion of her dragon tattoo is revealed. Notably, she was also wearing a T-shirt featuring an angel from Raphael’s Sistine Chapel painting.
This revelation comes after Billie Eilish had stated in 2020 that her tattoos would remain undisclosed. However, in a 2021 Vanity Fair interview during a photoshoot for Vogue, she referred to her tattoo as the “big boy” and showcased a portion of the enormous ink. At the Met Gala afterparty in 2021, she also displayed a section of a dragon’s tail tattoo while wearing a high-slitted gown.
The dragon tattoo begins at the side of her belly button, wrapping down her hip and upper thigh, featuring an open-mouthed dragon design. In addition to the dragon tattoo, Billie Eilish has several other tattoos. These include “some fairies that are from a book that I had growing up – a little fairy book called ‘Fairyopolis'” on her hand and wrist. She has mentioned having three tattoos in total, with one on her chest that says “Eilish.”
Recently, Billie Eilish confirmed her split from singer Jesse Rutherford, 31. The couple had been together since last October but hadn’t been seen publicly since attending Coachella in April. Billie’s representative stated that the breakup was amicable, and the former couple remains good friends. They also dismissed rumors of infidelity as false.
